Week 5 5) Life Choice: Should I Stay or Should I Go? [Categories: Life Choice, Making Connections]: Please complete the following:
Welcome to my fifth blog post! In this blog post I will have read and annotated Hills Like White Elephants (Ernest Hemingway) and will be answering two questions, whether I believe the woman chooses to stay with the man and a time I decided to stay or leave a relationship.
-I believe that she does choose to stay with the man. In my opinion it sounds like she is trying to do whatever it takes to make him happy, and it sounds like she really loves him so I believe she will go on the train with him. He seems to believe that things will eventually get better and that if they go together they can be happy and everything will be okay. Whatever situation they’re in, it seems they both believe that being together will make them happier than being apart.

I agree with you that it sounds like she stays with the man. I think he does have many flaws, but it is hard for her to see because she is so in love with him and wants things to go back to normal. I really enjoyed your personal story. It must be a really difficult decision to make and I can't imagine what that is like. Good luck and great blog! (Molly Zahner Wed 6:00pm class)

I can relate to your situation! I recently got to meet a few people from my birth family and it has been quite the roller coaster ride! I think its important to close doors for yourself, and if calling them will do that for you, then do it! My advice would be to prepare yourself for both good and bad results so you can obtain true closure no matter which way it goes. Good luck to you!

I found your personal story very interesting to read about. As I was reading I could imagine the anxiousness you must have been feeling. Now that you have their numbers and control over what happens next, best of luck to you!
